Challenge Me Monday #118 - Kaboom!
Let Freedom Ring!
Happy Independence Day (one day early) everyone. Most of you don't know this, but I love the 4th of July. I love having a day set aside, each year, to celebrate the birthday of our great country. When I think about the courage that our forefathers had to leave their homelands, come to this country and stand united against oppression and tyranny; well, it makes my tears well up and my heart swell with pride. We are so blessed to live in this great country and I am proud to say I'm an American.
Back to the subject at hand. Challenges! This week, over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog (FCCB - http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/search/label/Challenge%20Me%20Monday) their "Challenge Me Monday" challege has a definite 4th of July theme. You are supposed to make a creation with a firework, sparkler, or other big boom incorporated into your project. Well, for me... nothing says BOOM (or 4th of July) quite like the image of our Bald Eagle. You want to talk about strength, power and might.... the Bald Eagle has it. So, as you can see, I took a little different spin on the challenge (us creative types, we are non-conformers.... haha!).
Thanks for looking, have a safe and happy 4th of July and God Bless America!!!
Hugs,
Wheeze
